The Friday Pfister Fix
Sending you into your weekend with positive vibes.
The Pfister 5
When I started writing my blog (the #fridaypfisterfix) back in 2020, my goal was to connect with (and hopefully inspire) my patients, especially at a time when COVID shocked the world. Now, nearly 4 years later, I’m still at it (although sometimes publishing only once/month). This latest blog entry is entitled “The Pfister 5” — five things you probably didn’t know about me — a window into my world outside of Orthodontics.
Natural Control
Recently, I’ve started noticing just how complex the world keeps becoming. But there’s hope! And in this week’s #fridaypfisterfix, I look to Nature and Holiday Traditions for lessons in simplicity…
Self-Actualization
Even though it would seem many of us should have a fun, COVID-free summer to look forward to, I’m finding that many of my patients (or patients’ parents) are still feeling the stress of this past year and finding it hard to return to normalcy… which leads me to this week’s #fridaypfisterfix. I can’t wait to share with you what I’ve learned about stress management and self-actualization.
Go Green or Go Home
Those that know me well know that I love nature. And as someone who enjoys nature, I also feel obligated to protect it for future generations. With April’s Earth Day in the rear-view mirror, in this week’s #fridaypfisterfix I couldn’t resist making the case that every day should be Earth Day…
Winter’s Respite
Some call it, “bone-chilling cold.” I call it, “opportunity.” Winter offers us a time to rest and rejuvenate before “rebirth” in the Spring. And, for the brave willing to weather the cold, a winter hike can be transformative. In this week’s #fridaypfisterfix, I encourage you to enjoy everything an Ohio winter has to offer…
Natural Change
If you’ve met me or read any of my blog articles, you know I love nature. And, as is my goal of every #fridaypfisterfix, I’d like to send you into your weekend with positive vibes and some sound advice - get out and enjoy nature this weekend! (I hear tomorrow is supposed to be sunny.) Looking for inspiration? Check out my article on why I think nature is a great teacher in dealing with change.
